I did my proper chef-y grilling on Sunday with my super secret sorta Peruvian sorta Jamaican jerk chicken, hoisin & spice rubbed flank steak, creamy dill potato salad, and grilled green beans, carrots, mushrooms and bell peppers. I also made a batch of my cilantro, jalapeño & line crema sauce and some foo foo appetizers like prosciutto and basil wrapped medjool dates and feta dill cucumber boats.
Today we’re going to my brother-in-law’s house for what I’m sure will be a more standard meal of burgers, brats, etc. But I’m making tortellini salad with red bell peppers, olives, parsley, roasted garlic, and drizzled with olive oil and aged balsamic vinegar.

I almost picked up a Boston Butt to smoke but decided against 10-14 hours of cooking. Your spread looks phenomenal, though!
I’ll be smoking some chicken quarters and green onion sausage today before cranking up the heat for corn on the cob.
